Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to visit the city of Paris. I wanted to see the Eiffel Tower, feel the romance, hear the French language. This time of year it was fall. October weather in Paris was pretty cold and cloudy which made the cities old architecture even more beautiful.
It was a short, windy 25 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower from my hotel. The streets were filled with tourists and autumn leaves falling to the ground.
She was so much taller than I had ever imagined! I had waited so long for this moment and stood there for what seemed like hours soaking up the view. After this, I knew I had to go full on tourist and see the other famous monuments in Paris.

Notre-Dame Cathedral

Arc de Triomphe
Each morning I had breakfast at a different cafe. They were very tiny and served so many delicious pastries. The bread was so fresh that I didn’t mind the over carb intake. Afternoons in Paris were spent out on a terrace drinking either espresso or wine and learning to roll my own cigarettes, which I learned was more popular than buying a pack.
For my last night in the city my friend recommended Le Georges explaining it had an outstanding view of the Eiffel Tower. Le Georges was a little tricky to find. It is located in  Pompidou Centre on the sixth floor. As we arrived I asked the waitress for a window table. She informed me that this was the finest panoramic view of Paris and she was right! The Eiffel Tower glistening in the back while I had a crisp glass of Château Rayas was the most amazing night-cap I could have experienced.
