Zip lining is always a fun rush, especially in places that have beautiful exotic scenery like Maui! If you haven’t tried zip lining yet, I strongly suggest you make it happen on your next getaway. If you happen to be afraid of heights like I am then suck it up because it’s not as scary as it seems I promise! This time I used Skyline Eco Adventures. To get to the zip line the tour guides take you up the mountain on a very bumpy road in their van. Once you get to the station they have helmets for you as well as the strap on equipment. The first zip line is the “practice line” which is very long to give you an idea of how the rest will feel.
When I got on to the dock and saw how high up I would be flying over the ground it made me a little nervous but the adrenaline rush over came my fear. The tour guides were very informative and taught the group how to steer so we wouldn’t be spinning in the air or landing backwards.
This time is Maui is their rainy season so walking was a little muddy but it made the sky cloudy so the sun/heat wasn’t so brutal. I’ve zip lined in the past but Maui zip lining by far has the most gorgeous of views. From these stand points I saw the ocean as well as the volcanoes.
