Starbucks Hacks

Starbucks Hacks

If you’re a coffee lover or coffee dependent then chances are you go to your local Starbucks weekly, if not daily. Starbucks is quick, easy (unless you’re in a hurry) and everywhere.

  • Make It Vegan. Sometimes the term “vegan” scares people off so I’ll say “dairy-free” which is all it really is. The most important hack you can put into your regular Starbucks routine is making your coffee dairy-free. You can try your regular cup with Soy, Almond Milk, or Coconut Milk.  My personal go to is adding coconut milk to my ice coffee to give it a sweeter/lighter taste.  When you go dairyfree you’ll probably drop some weight. It gets better, you’ll be making some cows happy as well.

  • Never Order A Boring Green Tea.  Ever find yourself squeezing loads of honey and lemons into your green tea but no matter how much you add it’s still a boring simple drink? Next time you order a green tea ask for “ice, no water, 7 pumps of either raspberry, passion or peach citrus, and 7 pumps of classic. This gives your plain green tea an intense fruity flavor.

  • Holiday Drinks. I know I’m not the only one crazy about Starbuck’s holiday drink menu. It’s like a countdown when Autumn is approaching just so we can get our seasonal lattes. If you’re like me and think the Pumpkin Spice Latte is the best drink on the holiday menu, I’m letting you in on a secret; there’s something even better. This Fall walk into Starbucks and order a Pumpkin Chai Latte. It’s a simple off-menu twist that will spice up the pumpkin flavor. Don’t forget to substitute for soy!

Lovely post with plenty of good tips. I have only tried soy milk in my tea and will definitely ask for almond or coconut milk next time. I’m a heavy tea drinker, your green tea tip is super! 😊

I enjoy soy as well. I can’t even tell the difference. Thanks for the feedback. My favorite is the peach tea!
