36 Hours In Big Bear

36 Hours In Big Bear

Hey guys! So after finding out that I’m moving in less than a month it’s pretty much understood that I am trying to enjoy every aspect of California while I can! When we heard how much snow Big Bear was going to get we packed up and hit the road that same night. Last year I enjoyed a Summer trip to Big Bear so it was a little hard to imagine how the mountains and lake would look in the Winter. We checked into our Air bnb around 11pm and the next morning woke up in a fluffy white snow globe.

Both mornings we indulged in Grizzly Manor Cafe’s outstanding comfort food. It really hit the spot with the 15 degree weather outside lol. Incase you can’t tell what’s on the plate allow me to fill you in, biscuits & gravy with bacon underneath eggs alongside crisp hash browns. Yeah I’m drooling all over again.

Unfortunately ya girl cannot snow board so after saying goodbye to my man I stayed in the cabin with Taco (my pup) bundled in blankets, watching movies, drowning in hot chocolate and watching each snow flake pile up one by one til the porch was knee deep. Who says blizzards aren’t fun? Everyone has their own entertainment and this was mine, along with pure relaxation.

We said goodbye to Big Bear the next morning and on the way down the icy mountains were the best views ever!IMG_5234
